FFCC Show Host

We need your help to donate a meal and your time!


Your Titan Regiment is hosting the upcoming FFCC Color Guard Competition on Saturday, February 12 at University High School. This is a HUGE event featuring over 40 color guard teams from around the state. We need parents and adults to donate food for the hospitality room and we need volunteers to run the various stations around the school. The last time we hosted this event (2020), the band profited over $10,000! We cannot stress how much WE NEED YOUR HELP! Click to sign up:


FFCC Job Descriptions

All adult jobs include chaperoning and monitoring student behavior that are working with you. Please make sure students are on task and not impeding the flow of events. All jobs overlap! Please do not leave your post until you have trained and supervised your replacement doing your job extremely well.

All volunteers (adults and students) will check-in at the guard/team check-in table.


Adult Jobs
Setup - The morning setup crew will setup:

• Guard Check-in Table and Tent

• Tent and chairs in the Student Parking Lot

• Tent and chairs in the Back-Parking Lot

• Put out parking lot signs

• Concessions and Cafeteria

• Prepare Band room for body warmup

• Prepare Auditorium for Equipment Warmup

• Prepare Hospitality Room

• Prepare Judges Room

• Remove Bars from hallways that the guard will use

• Check signs and re-tape any signs that have fallen.

• Assist with anything else that needs to be done.


Ticket Sales

• Sell tickets in the ticket booth (front of gymnasium)


Guard Check-in

Parents will oversee checking in all guards as they come on campus. This is one of the most important jobs that we have.

• Be extremely nice and pleasant. You will help set the tone for all performers and staff members for our show. Some instructors will be stressed out but be pleasant with them, PLEASE!!!!

• Place wrist bands on all members of staff and team.

• Check-in all student and parent volunteers.


Concessions

Parents will run and handle all parts of concessions. Students are not allowed to handle money.

• Assign students to work specific parts of concessions.

• Clean and organize products.

• Keep watch of inventory.

• Communicate with the parents running the grill about product and product needs.

• Do not open all products. Products can be returned that are not used.

o Ex: A case of unopen Coke will be returned)

• Keep the area clean and free of mess.

• Do not allow students to eat in this area.

• Clean as you go.


Grill Cook Master

• Cook Hot Dogs, Hamburgers and fries. (subject to change)

• Keep all uncooked food in cooler.

• Monitor levels of cook food.

• All uncooked products will be stored in the Gym concession stand.

• Keep your workspace clean.

• Avoid cross contamination with cooked and uncooked products.


Hospitality Room

• Clean and organize food for the instructors.

• Monitor food levels in dishes. Replace or throw away items that look old.

• Remove items that have been out for more than 4 hours.

• Fill soda coolers from concessions.

• Check off dishes that have been brought.

• Contact people to come pickup their dishes when they are done being used. You will get contact sheet.

• Clean and organize the judges room after their lunch and dinner breaks.


Security

This is another extremely important job. You must be paying attention all the time.

• Parent security will guard the main entrances to the gym.

• You will check all people entering the gym.

• Paying Spectators sit in the front.

• Performers must sit on the back side of the gym.

• Do not allow any food or drinks in the gym.

• You will refuse entry to all people without a wrist band or holding food/drink.

• Open the door between performances.

• Close doors when announcements begin for the next event.

• Make sure all people entering the gym raise their arm to show wrist band.


Nurse

• Provide First-Aid to any students that need it.

• You will be in the bio-medical science room.

Student Jobs

• This entrance is located at the back of the gym by the First Aid Station. This is where guards will enter.

• You will check all people entering the gym for wrist bands including performers

• This is not an entrance for spectators.

• You will refuse entry to all people without a wrist band or has food or drink.

• Open the door between performances.

• Close doors when announcements begin for the next event.

Security Guard Exit

• This entrance is located at the back of the gym by the parking lot. This is where guards will exit.

• You will check all people entering the gym for wrist bands including performers

• This is not an entrance for spectators.

• You will refuse entry to all people without a wrist band or has food or drink.

• All other people must enter through the main entrance.

• Open the door between performances.

• Close doors when announcements begin for the next event.

Parking-Spectator

• This parking area is located behind the school.

• You will be placed at the entrance of the parking lot.

• You will answer any question people have.

• Make sure that performers park in the student parking lot.

• Send performers back to the other parking lot. (student lot)

Parking- Performer

• This parking area is located in the student parking lot.

• You will be placed at the entrance of the parking lot.

• You will answer any question people have.

• Make sure that only performers park in this lot.

• Send paying spectators to the other parking lot.

Warm-up Body

• There will be a sheet that explains everything you have to do.

Equipment Warm-Up
