Good afternoon Parents and students,
As we work our way into December, we need to discuss our upcoming fundraiser, Luminary Sales. This is the most important fundraiser we have all year and is a mandatory fundraiser for band and guard students. Luminary sales are two days this year December 7th from 7:45am- 2:00pm and December 14th from 7:45- 2:00pm. Students are to attend both days. This is an expectation of being apart of the band and this is our way of keep fees low. It is part of the tradition of the University High School Titan Regiment Band and Guard program. Our Tradition Is Excellence and this is our way to provide as much as we can for our students. Below you will find a brief description of the day and what we do. A detailed email will be sent out later. We need as many parents as possible for this fundraiser.
Luminary Sales Days Schedule
Call time: 7:45 (dressed and ready to go)
Meeting: 8:00-8:30 In auditorium with parents and students.
8:45 Depart UHS
9:00-2pm: Luminary Sales
Please bring a snack or something to quickly eat while you are out. We will not be stopping or planning a lunch break this year.
Students will signup for Luminary groups at school. Parents will signup after students are done signing up. I cannot guarantee that you will be driving your own student but, allowing parents to signup afterwards will help us organize that a little better.
Parent Driver Requirements
You must have a vehicle that can hold 4 students.
You are to stay with the students and supervise them at all points and times.
