Extremely Important!!

It is luminary driver signup time!  We will need 30 drivers on Dec 7th and 34 drivers on Dec 14th.   You will have to click on each link to signup for both days.  We are very short on both days.  We need every available parent to signup.

  1. Students are not allowed to drive.  No exceptions.

  2. You must have room for 4 students in your car.

Please plan to signup by Tuesday Nov. 26th.  The booster board members will begin calling after next Tuesday to fill any spots that we need.    It is a very easy day for you.  You will be in your car monitoring the students as they go through each area.  When you signup please include your cell phone number.  We will be printing this out for parents to take with them on their routes. I cannot stress how important this fundraiser is for us.

Good afternoon Parents and students,

As we work our way into December, we need to discuss our upcoming fundraiser, Luminary Sales.  This is the most important fundraiser we have all year and is a mandatory fundraiser for band and guard students.  Luminary sales are two days this year December 7th from 7:45am- 2:00pm and December 14th from 7:45- 2:00pm.  Students are to attend both days.  This is an expectation of being apart of the band and this is our way of keep fees low.  It is part of the tradition of the University High School Titan Regiment Band and Guard program.  Our Tradition Is Excellence and this is our way to provide as much as we can for our students.  Below you will find a brief description of the day and what we do.  A detailed email will be sent...

Weekly music notes:

Thank you to the parents and students for a very successful marching band season.  Parents dedicated over 1000 volunteer hours to the marching band season and I am very grateful for the help.

We have our first concert Tuesday night at 7:00pm.  Please see the schedule below for the details for your students.

Admissions for the concert

We suggest a $5 donation per a person or maximum of $10 per a family for the concert.  All proceeds from all our concerts go to the summer music camp scholarship fund.   Based on how much money we bring in from concerts, will determine how many scholarships we give out.  Over the last 8 years we have given out almost $15,000 in summer music camp scholarships for students because of your generosity at conc...

It is the week we have been working for all marching band season!! This coming Saturday we have our Marching Music Performance Assessment in Deland at Spec Martin Stadium. Our performance time is 6:15. Please plan on coming to see your students perform at this event. This will be the last time we perform the marching show for the year! Thank you so much for your help during the season. We do have one more football game after this week at Lake Howell. As we turn the page on another marching band season, please understand that we need your help just as much for the rest of the year. Last week was a very successful first week of the marching band season.  Thank you to all the parents that chaperoned at the first game.  Please remember that you must ride the bus to receive a chaperone badge for a game and must enter and leave with the band to get into any game for free.  We are extremely low on chaperones for this game, so please signup as soon as possible if you are free.  Yes, we really do need that many chaperones!
