Jarrod Koskoski, Director of Bands

Mr. Koskoski (Mr. K) has been the Director of Bands at University High School Since 2022. Prior to his appointment at UHS, he served as the Director of Bands and Orchestra at Mulberry High School (2019-2022) and the Director of Bands and Orchestra Seabreeze High School from 2013 to 2019. Prior to this, Mr. K was the Director of Bands and Orchestra at Toledo Christian School in Toledo Ohio from 2005 - 2013. Mr. K started his career in Brevard County Florida as the Associated Director or Bands and Orchestra Director at Palm Bay High School from 2001 - 2004. He received his Bachelors of Music Education from the University of Central Florida in 2001 where he was a member of Kappa Kappa Psi, the Marching Knights, Drum Major for the Marching Knights and performed in various ensembles. His bands have consistently received "Superior" Ratings at Music Performances Assessments, including the Otto J. Kraushaar Award for earning Straight Superiors at District and State Assessments. His marching bands have performed all over the country including Ohio, Florida, New Orleans, the Sugar Bowl and they have performed International as well including London for the London New Year's Day Parade in 2019 and 2024. His Concert Bands have performed in multiple Invitational Performance opportunities including. Stetson University, Cedarville University and the University of Dayton. Mr. K has served on the Florida Orchestra Association Executive Board as a District Chair and as the 9-12 Honor Orchestra Coordinator. He has served as an All-County Clinician in Flagler County and Orange County Florida. H e is the proud stepfather to 2 beautiful girls and married to his wife Dominica.

Dominica Koskoski, Director of Color Guards

Dominica Koskoski graduated from The University of Central Florida with a bachelor’s degree in Liberal studies and a master’s degree in Elementary Education. She began her color guard career in 1999 at Spruce Creek High School, after graduation she was a member of the UCF Starlet Knights Color guard for 4 years serving as captain for her last 3. She also was a member of Fahrenheit Independent Winter guard from 2003-2008, 2011 where she also was captain. In 2006 she marched DCI with The Magic of Orlando. Dominica has taught at many high schools including Spruce Creek High School, St. Cloud High School, Auburndale High School, Bishop Moore Catholic High School, and most recently director at Seabreeze High School 2013-2021 where they placed 1st at Championships in 2019 and 2021. Currently Mrs. Koskoski is a 5th grade teacher at Sweetwater Elementary school in Port Orange, Florida and mom to 2 girls, Bella and Briar and married to Mr. Koskoski.
